EpiPen Adrenaline (Epinephrine) Auto Injector Device – 0.3mg
Description
EpiPen administers a dose of adrenaline, also known as epinephrine, to control symptoms of anaphylaxis and get the reaction under control.
What is an EpiPen?
It is designed for easy use by the lay person and has to be considered as first aid. EpiPen® auto-injector delivers a single dose 0.3 ml injection equal to 0.3 mg adrenaline when activated. The usual adrenaline adult dose for allergic emergencies is 0.3 mg.
An initial dose should be administered as soon as symptoms of anaphylaxis are recognised. In the absence of clinical improvement or if deterioration occurs after the initial treatment, a second injection with an additional EpiPen® auto-injector may be administered 5 – 15 minutes after the first injection. It is recommended that patients are prescribed two EpiPen® auto-injectors which they should carry at all times.
EpiPen® auto-injectors are automatic injection devices containing adrenaline for allergic emergencies.
The symptoms of a severe allergic reaction (also known as anaphylaxis) can including:
- Feeling lightheaded or faint
- Breathing difficulties – such as fast, shallow breathing
- Wheezing
- A fast heartbeat
- Clammy skin
- Confusion and anxiety
- Collapsing or losing consciousness
EpiPen administers a dose of adrenaline, also known as epinephrine, to control symptoms of anaphylaxis and get the reaction under control.
Adrenaline is considered the first-line drug of choice for allergic emergencies. If used, seek immediate medical assistance.
Prescription supply
At the basket, you will be asked per line whether each prescription-eligible item is being ordered on prescription for a named patient or as clinic stock under your responsibility.
Named-patient prescription supply. Lines marked for a named patient are dispensed against your prescription. The order is held for Superintendent Pharmacist review before despatch. Prescription supply is zero-rated for VAT.
Clinic stock supply. Lines marked as clinic stock are supplied under your professional responsibility for use in your practice. Standard VAT applies at checkout.
Orders containing prescription-only medicines (POM) are held until the Superintendent Pharmacist has cleared the prescription. Same-day dispatch applies once cleared.

Delivery & Returns
Dispatch: Orders approved before 3pm Monday to Friday ship the same day for next-working-day delivery via tracked courier. Cold-chain products travel in temperature-controlled packaging.
Returns: Sealed, in-date, unopened items may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Cold-chain items cannot be returned once dispatched. Contact our trade team to start a return.
